The Outlaw Tales
The Outlaw Tales is an original collection of nine interwoven scenes and songs featuring characters too cruel, too misunderstood, or too righteous to live by the law.
The Outlaw Tales has been staged twice in 2024, at Carrol Place in NYC and at Studio Azarov in Los Angeles.
Scene: Blood Dries Black, Not Red
Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 1961 - The chief asks her again. “What did you see, officer? Up at the old Philips place?”
Her fingers were cold at the tips and her eyes fixed on a corner of the police chief’s desk.
“Blood,” she said. “I saw a house just painted with it.”
Song: Why Wouldn’t We Run
Scene: None of These Damn Priests Speak English!
Hospital at Misión San Antonio de Oquitoa, Mexico - 1927
Song: High Desert Wind
Scene: Sunrise At Camp
Oświęcim, Poland 1944 - His friend is dead and he won’t apologize. His parents are dead and he won’t apologize. Nothing that happened could have been avoided. Their love was a matter of science; as inevitable a fall as Newton’s apple.
Song: Talkin’ To A Pretty Blonde Girl
Scene: Something The Sophisticate Lost
Baptist Health Louisville, Louisville, KY 2022 - “Providing a prohibited medical service under the measure would be considered unprofessional conduct and subject to discipline and a hearing process by the provider’s licensing entity. The measure specifies that such discipline would include revoking of the health care provider’s license or certification.”
